About this project
We are working to build a community masjid that serves as a house of Allah and a center for prayer, Qur’an learning and community support.
What your donation supports: land preparation and foundations, walls and roofing, prayer hall carpeting, ablution (wudū) areas, women’s prayer space, lighting and ventilation, and a classroom for Qur’an and Islamic studies.
Current status (Malawi): in Machinga, Balaka, Zomba and Lilongwe districts, land has been secured and bricks are already prepared, allowing us to begin foundations as soon as funds arrive.
Why this matters: a local masjid provides five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Islamic education for children and adults, counseling, and a safe space for community care—benefits that continue for generations.
